#Network4Cause Supports Sacramento Homeless Services
Halfway into 2015, it has come to my attention that over half of our #Network4Cause events have sponsored organizations which provide assistance and services to the low-income and homeless communities in Sacramento.
It started with C.A.F.F.E. (Clothing and food for everyone) in January, an organization that feeds and clothes the homeless twice a month. In April #Network4Cause sponsored Mutual Housing of California, which owns and operates 18 affordable housing communities in Sacramento and Yolo Counties. In May we sponsored Legal Services of Northern California, which provides quality legal services to empower the poor to identify and defeat the causes and effects of poverty. It is programs such as these that make me proud to call Sacramento my home, a community of compassion and advocacy.
I am happy to announce that our unintentional theme for 2015 is continuing into June. Please join us on June 4, 2015, as we take #Network4Cause on the road to TurnAround Coffee House, a nonprofit charitable business venture operated by volunteers to benefit Clean & Sober (New Start) homeless recovery communities. It’s literally, change in every cup!
Clean & Sober is a self-help program for homeless men and women seeking recovery from substance abuse. For more information on Clean & Sober click Here
